    • The Independent Television Commission (ITC) is the regulator of Channels 3 and 4 and also deals with Channel 5. Their pages are largely factual, giving details for example of the members of the Commission and contact details, but also now has information on Digital Terestrial Television

• United International Pictures (UIP) has sites for its latest films.
• The MGM/UA site "The Lion's Den"
• MCA/Universal Cyberwalk includes information on its Motion Pictures and Coming Attractions
• Paramount Pictures Studio Online. A comprehensive site with interactive film tours, the latest studio news and even a job page.
  The site also includes Paramount Home Video
• Warner Bros. Online have a site, which now leads to the Warner Bros. Movie Page.
• The Welcome to Walt Disney
• Miramax Films, producers of "Pulp Fiction", "Sex, Lies and Videotape", "Heavenly Creatures" and more provide plots and castlists for their films and allow downloads of stills and previews
• Sony Movies Home Page. Tours, previews, movie news - it's all here. Large and well designed Web site from the owners of Columbia Pictures.
• Columbia TriStar Home Page, is the UK site for Columbia
• Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have a site, mostly devoted to video releases (including some classics and more recent films)

• The UK site of the Internet Movie Database - the film site on the Web. Holds more information than a rack of Halliwell's guides, is more fun and is not as biased
• Flicks - you know, that free sheet you pick up at the cinema. Well the web site is worth a look, honest, even if their definition of "this week" may be regarded as a little elastic!
• London Calling - Film Reviews
• Film reviews from Film.com
• There's a more tongue-in-cheek film review site dealing with .Net films at Hollywood's Coming
• Movie Index from USA Today seemed to have some decent reviews and also has film news
• Empire Web (best viewed with a frames-compatible browser) also has reviews of recent films
• The Film Festivals Server has information on recent and future film festivals
• Network Hollywood is another Hollywood gossip site which now seems to be working
• Movie Clichés List
• An entertaining and visually pleasing site can be found at The Foresight Entertainment Center, which has a Movie page concentrating on sites they have designed for movie companies. You can browse and download clips from the latest movies, preview games and listen to the latest albums.
• MOMI on the Hub, the Museum of the Moving Image
• The official Hollywood site is massive with film archives, pictures, sound, video, screen savers .. but is quite graphics intensive
• Another site for film previews is at Movieweb
• and FlyPBA (Provincetown-Boston Airline)'s Digital Cinema of QuickTime and Video for Windows Movie Trailers is particularly impressive
• The TV Themes Home Page has TV theme tunes (in .au format) to download and play
• The Ultimate TV List. Name any American TV series that's ever arrived in the UK, or UK TV programme that's ever been exported to the US and you'll find something about it here
• Archive of UK TV series
• The James Bond Agent 007, OHMSS pages have information on the actors who have played the role, as well as the villains, indeed anything I could think of seems to be here. The linked URL for "The James Bond Shrine" (which has sound files from some of the films) claims to be "the largest multimedia and second-most visited Bond site on the Web". True James Bond fans will also need the Official GoldenEye Cyber Store from where they can download the Netscape Titan software to make secure credit card purchases over the 'net

Film and TV Listings

• CINEASC: The UK Internet Film Guide (temporarily unavailable as at 26 November 1996) has cinema listings for London and the rest of the UK and links to other movie sites and to film reviews from London Calling - Film Reviews maintained by Matt Arnoldi
• Link-It UK TV Guide has UK TV listings and links to appropriate sites
• BT Labs has a very interesting (if slow) form-based Movie Recommendation System (MORSE) which recommends films you might find worth seeing based on your scores given to a sample list.
• Three others that might be worth looking at are Yell's Film Finder, Events Online and MovieWeb (not to be confused with the US site with a similar name). The UK version is due online on Thursday 25th July, 1996.

• CBS includes a link to CBS News Up To The Minute from where you can now experiment with VDOLive (and download the software). There is also a RealAudio feed
• The Media UK Internet Directory
• The Jane Austen Home Page includes annotated text and commentary on Pride and Prejudice and other novels
• Mandy's Film and Television Directory has details of email addresses and resumés of film technicians and other film makers (in the loose sense of the word), as well as post-production facilities
